In the midst of a crisis over turning 30 last year, my husband asked me if I would mind moving to Moscow for a few years. He wanted to take a job he had always dreamed of. Blame my mental state at the time or not, I said yes. And here we are. We have lived in Moscow for a year now.
Since moving in November of 2009, I have traveled a lot, volunteered a lot, questioned my sanity often and sent frequent emails home to our curious and patient families. Now, with a year behind us, I thought it was time to start a blog. This adventure is just too crazy not to somehow be documented, even if just for our closest family and friends. The life David and I are leading right now is full of humor, horror, ups and downs. In the process of learning about a new country and new people we have also learned a great deal about ourselves and our relationship. And most importantly we have learned to laugh-even in the hardest moments. I hope you enjoy sharing in our adventure.
